Multiplying

A multiplying faith is a reproducing faith. As you have deepened your walk with Jesus, you now recognize the importance of investing in others. This stage is about making disciples who make disciples, spreading the impact of your faith. The following practices will help you nurture and guide others on their journey, just as you have been guided.

Worship-Filled Life

As individuals mature in their faith, cultivating a worship-filled life becomes a central focus of their spiritual journey. This goes beyond attending church services or engaging in personal prayer; it involves a deepening intimacy with God and a wholehearted surrender to His presence. A worship-filled life is characterized by a lifestyle of devotion, where every aspect of one’s being is offered as an act of worship to God.

Psalm 63:1-2 (NIV): “You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory.”

To deepen their commitment to a worship-filled life, the action item is to embark on a journey of 21 days of prayer and fasting. This intentional period of seeking God through prayer and fasting provides a focused opportunity to draw closer to Him, aligning one’s heart and desires with His will. Through prayer, individuals can deepen their intimacy with God, while fasting serves as a means of spiritual discipline and surrender. By completing 21 days of prayer and fasting, individuals can experience spiritual breakthroughs, renewed passion for worship, and a deeper understanding of God’s presence in their lives.

Grow in the Word

As individuals mature in their faith, growing in the knowledge and understanding of God’s Word becomes a cornerstone of their spiritual journey. This involves not only reading the Bible but also studying its teachings, meditating on its truths, and applying its principles to daily life. Growing in the Word deepens one’s relationship with God, strengthens faith, and equips believers to navigate life’s challenges with wisdom and discernment.

Joshua 1:8 (NIV): “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

To deepen their commitment to growing in the Word, the action item is to read the entire Bible in a year. This structured approach provides a systematic way to engage with the entirety of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation, over the course of twelve months. By dedicating time each day to reading the Bible, individuals can immerse themselves in God’s Word, gaining a comprehensive understanding of its themes, narratives, and teachings. Completing the Bible in a year not only fosters spiritual growth but also cultivates a deeper intimacy with God and a greater appreciation for His revelation to humanity.

Connect in Community

As individuals mature in their faith, connecting in community takes on added significance, not only for personal growth but also for leading others on their own spiritual journeys. Being part of a Christian community provides opportunities for fellowship, accountability, and mutual encouragement, essential elements for spiritual maturation. Taking on a leadership role within a small group allows individuals to foster deeper relationships, guide others in their faith, and contribute to the building of a strong and vibrant community of believers.

Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV): “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

To deepen their commitment to connecting in community, the action item is to become a small group leader. This involves stepping into a leadership role within the church’s small group ministry, facilitating discussions, providing spiritual guidance, and nurturing a supportive and nurturing environment for group members. By serving as a small group leader, individuals can use their gifts and experiences to mentor others, foster discipleship, and contribute to the spiritual growth and well-being of the community.

Serve Others

As individuals mature in their faith, their call to serve others often expands beyond direct acts of service to a leadership role, guiding and empowering others in their own service endeavors. Becoming a leader of leaders involves not only serving with excellence but also equipping, mentoring, and empowering others to fulfill their God-given potential in serving the community and advancing God’s kingdom. It requires a commitment to humility, servant leadership, and a deep understanding of the needs and giftings of those being led.

Mark 10:45 (NIV): “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

To deepen their commitment to serving others, the action item is to become a leader of leaders within a ministry or service area. This involves stepping into a leadership role where the primary focus is on equipping and empowering others to serve effectively. As a leader of leaders, individuals have the opportunity to mentor, disciple, and provide guidance to a team of volunteers, fostering a culture of excellence, unity, and growth. By embracing this leadership role, individuals can multiply their impact, inspire others to serve, and contribute to building a strong and vibrant community of believers dedicated to serving God and others.

Live a Generous Life

As individuals mature in their faith, living a generous life becomes a natural outgrowth of their deepening relationship with God and their understanding of His abundant grace and provision. Living generously involves not only giving of one’s resources but also offering oneself in service, love, and hospitality to others. Going above and beyond in generosity reflects a heart that is fully surrendered to God’s will and committed to advancing His kingdom on earth.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (NIV): “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

To deepen their commitment to living a generous life, the action item is to give above and beyond their regular tithes and offerings. This involves sacrificial giving—offering financial resources, time, talents, and other resources for the work of God’s kingdom in ways that stretch beyond what is comfortable or expected. By giving above and beyond, individuals demonstrate their trust in God’s provision, their obedience to His call to stewardship, and their commitment to making a tangible impact for His glory.

Give Now

Share the Gospel

As individuals mature in their faith, their passion for sharing the Gospel often intensifies, as does their desire to equip themselves with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively communicate the message of salvation to others. Personal evangelism training provides practical tools, strategies, and biblical principles for sharing the Gospel in various contexts, empowering believers to confidently and compassionately proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to those around them.

Romans 10:14 (NIV): “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?”

To deepen their commitment to sharing the Gospel, the action item is to participate in a personal evangelism training program. This training equips believers with the necessary skills and resources to articulate their faith, engage in meaningful conversations about spiritual matters, and effectively communicate the message of salvation to others. Through interactive workshops, role-playing scenarios, and practical exercises, individuals can develop confidence, clarity, and sensitivity in sharing their faith, ultimately becoming more effective ambassadors for Christ in their communities and beyond.
