Share the Gospel

Bring hope, transformation, and lead people to eternal life through Jesus.

Matthew 28:19-20

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Sharing the Gospel means actively proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to others, inviting them to experience His love, grace, and salvation. It involves living out our faith authentically and being ready to communicate the hope and transformation we’ve found in Christ. Sharing the Gospel is not limited to words but includes our actions and attitudes, which reflect the character of Jesus and draw others to Him. This commitment to evangelism springs from a deep desire for others to know the life-changing power of a relationship with God.

Moreover, sharing the Gospel transforms our perspective and purpose. It shifts our focus from ourselves to the eternal significance of others’ lives. As we share the message of Christ, we grow in our own faith, finding joy and fulfillment in witnessing God’s work in the lives of those around us. This mission encourages us to develop meaningful relationships, where we can lovingly and respectfully engage in spiritual conversations. Ultimately, sharing the Gospel is an essential expression of our love for God and people, fulfilling Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations and bringing glory to God through the spread of His Kingdom.

This exploration can lead to a personal encounter with Jesus and the beginning of a transformative journey of faith.

Learn more about Share the Gospel

Beginning

For new believers, sharing the Gospel becomes an essential part of their faith journey. At this stage, believers learn to articulate their personal testimony and share the message of Jesus with others. They begin to understand that evangelism is not just about imparting knowledge but also about sharing the love and hope they have found in Christ.

This stage involves developing the confidence to share their faith with family, friends, and acquaintances, using their own experiences and the truths of Scripture. New believers find joy and fulfillment in witnessing to others, knowing that they are participating in God’s mission to redeem and restore the world. Sharing the Gospel helps to strengthen their faith, as they see the impact of God’s message in the lives of those they reach.

Inviting friends to church provides a welcoming environment where they can hear the Gospel proclaimed, ask questions, and explore faith in community. It’s a simple yet profound way to fulfill the Great Commission, spreading the Good News and making disciples of all nations.

Growing

For those growing in their faith, sharing the Gospel becomes a more intentional and integrated part of their daily lives. This stage involves a deeper understanding of evangelism as a calling and a mission, not just an occasional activity. Growing believers seek to share the Gospel through both words and actions, living out their faith in a way that attracts others to Christ.

At this stage, believers develop a heart for the lost and a passion for missions, both locally and globally. They engage in more structured evangelistic efforts, such as outreach events, mission trips, and community service projects. This growing commitment to sharing the Gospel transforms their perspective on life and relationships, as they seek to be ambassadors of Christ in every area of their lives.

To deepen engagement in sharing the Gospel, the action item is to participate in a mission trip. Mission trips provide opportunities to engage in cross-cultural evangelism, serve communities in need, and share the love of Christ in practical ways. Whether locally or internationally, participating in a mission trip allows believers to step outside their comfort zones, experience God’s heart for the lost, and actively participate in spreading the Gospel to those who have not yet heard. By joining a mission trip, individuals can contribute to kingdom-building efforts and make a lasting impact for eternity.

Multiplying

For those multiplying in their faith, sharing the Gospel involves leading and equipping others to evangelize. Mature believers model a lifestyle of evangelism, demonstrating the importance and urgency of spreading the good news of Jesus. They mentor others, providing training and resources to help them share their faith effectively and confidently.

At this stage, mature believers invest in developing new leaders and evangelists, creating a ripple effect that extends the reach of the Gospel. They organize and lead evangelistic initiatives, both within the church and in the broader community. Through their example and leadership, they help to multiply disciples who are committed to sharing the Gospel, impacting their communities and advancing God’s Kingdom in profound ways.

To deepen their commitment to sharing the Gospel, the action item is to participate in a personal evangelism training program. This training equips believers with the necessary skills and resources to articulate their faith, engage in meaningful conversations about spiritual matters, and effectively communicate the message of salvation to others. Through interactive workshops, role-playing scenarios, and practical exercises, individuals can develop confidence, clarity, and sensitivity in sharing their faith, ultimately becoming more effective ambassadors for Christ in their communities and beyond.
